Your ePortfolio can demonstrate what you’ve learned in a single class or multiple classes using posts, pages, and themes. This workshop covers beginning level WordPress features.

workshop topics
- create multiple installations of WordPress: Reclaim > cPanel > WordPress install > specify a directory
- use pages for permanent/static elements (e.g., Intro, About) and use posts for elements to update
- set the homepage to either a page (e.g., Welcome) or to the Posts page, depending on what you want to feature
- adjust the date in posts via Quick Edit if you want to change the order
- use categories to establish themes or learning goals across the posts (e.g., writing, science, collaboration)
- don’t forget about the featured image
